Former Leone Stars goalkeeper Mohamed Fabianski Kamara is closing in on a move to newly promoted Waterloo FC, with negotiations reportedly at an advanced stage.

Kamara, who previously won the Sierra Leone Premier League with East End Lions, is expected to be welcomed by the club’s passionate “Cassada Bread” supporters should the deal be completed.

Speaking to SierraLeoneNews.org, Kamara confirmed that discussions are ongoing and that an agreement could be reached soon.

Waterloo FC are set to open their league campaign away to Bullom Stars, and the club’s chairman, Kasho Holland-Cole, said they are working hard to finalise the deal and unveil Kamara before their opening fixture on October 10.

If completed, Kamara’s arrival would add valuable experience between the posts as Waterloo prepare for their first season back in the top flight.
