Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Director of Competition, Sorie Ibrahim Sesay has been appointed as CAF General Coordinator, following his recent assignment at the WAFU Zone A U-17 Boys Tournament in Dakar, Senegal.

The appointment, with immediate effect, represents another step in Sesay’s growing involvement in international football administration.

Following the successful completion of that assignment, the announcement states that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved his elevation to the position of General Coordinator.

In his new capacity, Sesay will be responsible for coordinating and administering CAF matches involving clubs and national teams across the continent.

His appointment adds to the growing number of Sierra Leoneans taking on responsibilities within continental football structures.
