With just 33 days remaining until the kickoff of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, excitement is building across Team Sierra Leone as young prodigy Peter J. Bewie intensifies his training regimen.

The historic multisport event, scheduled to run from October 31 to November 13 in Dakar, Senegal, marks the first time the Youth Olympic Games will be hosted on African soil.

Representing Sierra Leone in the pool, Bewie has demonstrated remarkable commitment and passion as he prepares to test his abilities against top international talent.

Affectionately known as “PJ Baby Dolphin” within local aquatics circles in Sierra Leone, Bewie’s rigorous preparation highlights his potential to make a strong impact on the continent’s biggest youth stage.

The Sierra Leone Aquatics Federation and sports stakeholders alike have rallied behind the young swimmer as the countdown to Dakar enters its final stretch.

With the Olympic dream drawing closer, all eyes will be on the young swimmer as Team Sierra Leone completes its final preparations.
