Bo Rangers defeated FA Cup champions East End Lions 2–1 in an entertaining Unity Cup clash at the Southern Arena on Sunday to lift the SLFA Men’s Unity Cup.

The Leone Rock Premier League champions proved too strong for the Lions, securing a dramatic victory in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.

Bo Rangers’ new signing, Abdul Bangura, announced his arrival in style, firing the hosts into the lead just two minutes into the game. The Elephants held on to their advantage throughout the first half and deep into the second period.

However, East End Lions refused to surrender. Ali Conteh restored parity in the 83rd minute, setting up a tense finale as both sides pushed for the decisive goal.

Just when the contest appeared destined for extra time, former Wusum Stars forward Abdul Bangura struck again in the 90+2nd minute to complete his brace and send the Southern Arena into wild celebration.

The victory crowns Bo Rangers as the SLFA Men’s Unity Cup champions and provides the Leone Rock Premier League holders with a perfect statement ahead of the new league season.
