The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) is set to announce the Leone Stars squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday, 17 September, during a press conference at the SLFA Secretariat in Kingtom, Freetown.

Head coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa will name his squad for Sierra Leone’s upcoming double-header against Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea this month.

Sierra Leone will host Zimbabwe in Morocco before travelling to Equatorial Guinea a few days later for the second qualifying fixture.

Following the squad announcement, Coach Gomes Da Rosa is expected to address the media and answer questions regarding his selection, preparations, and expectations ahead of the two crucial qualifiers.

The press conference is expected to provide an opportunity for journalists to seek clarification on the coach’s selection decisions and his plans for the upcoming matches.
