Head coach of Sierra Leone’s men’s national team, Didier Gomes Da Rosa, has named his 27-man squad for Sierra Leone’s upcoming double-header against Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea this month. The announcement was made on Thursday at a press conference at the SLFA Secretariat in Kingtom.

Sierra Leone will face Zimbabwe in Morocco before travelling to Equatorial Guinea a few days later for the second qualifying fixture.

Saidu Fofanah, popularly known as “Okocha,” is the only free agent included in the squad. Gomes Da Rosa addressed the media on the merit of the players’ selection, preparations and expectations ahead of the two crucial qualifiers.
